Mrs. Mary Worley Dies This Morning
Mrs. Mary Worley Succumbs to Tuberculosis This A.M. Rev. Adams to Officiate. Mrs. Mary Worley, widow of Mr. John Worley, passed away at her home on N. Pearl St., this morning at 9:15 o'clock following an extended illness due to tuberculosis. She was 76 years of age. The deceased was widely known in this community having resided for many years on a farm north of Covington previous to moving into her home on Pearl St., in 1916. She was affiliated with the Covington Church of the Brethren and was an active member of Class 15. Surviving are two sisters Mrs. Martha Coon of Pleasant Hill and Mrs. Huldah Divens of S. Pearl St., a niece Mrs. Ada Rickets of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who lived in the Worley home until her marriage. A number of other relatives and friends also survive. Her husband preceded her in death 19 years ago. At the request of the deceased Rev. Samuel J. Adams, pastor of the Pleasant Hill Brethren Church will officiate at the last rites.
