Extended Illness Due to Tumor Ends Early Today. Rites Sunday Afternoon. Mrs. Elizabeth Minnich, widow of John Minnich passed away early this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emma Procuniar near West Milton following an extended illness due to a tumor. She was 76 years of age. She had been suffering from the effects of a water tumor for the past 13 years. Mrs. Minnich resided in and near Covington for many years of her life and has a wide acquaintance of friends in the community. She was affiliated with the Church of the Brethren; uniting with the church during the pastorate of Rev. Click. Surviving are two daughter, Mrs. Emma Procuniar in whose home she was cared for during her illness, and Mrs. Jennie Reck of near Gettysburg; four brothers Clint Thompson and Ed Thompson of Pleasant Hill, Samuel and Dan Thompson of Circle Hill; 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Her husband passed away November 11th, 1933. a daughter Mrs. Edna Klopfer also preceded her in death. Funeral services have been arranged for Sunday afternoon with a short service at the Procuniar residence at 1:30 o'clock and at the Covington Church of the Brethren at 2:30. Rev. G. L. Wine will officiate. Interment will be made in the Highland Cemetery under the direction of Walter E. Routzahn.
