A precious and loving wife and mother, possessed of a very wonderful and understanding character, consistent, faithful and conscientious in her church relations, generous and loyal neighbor, layed aside her work to answer a call to join the celestial on Friday, June 8, 1934. Emily Bell Price, daughter of Isaac and Jane Fox Price was born near Pleasant Hill, Ohio, January 31, 1865. On September 17, 1885 she was united in marriage with Chas. B. Maier, which happy union was blessed with two sons, Arthur J. and Walter Leo. She was a life long member of the Church of the Brethren, an active worker in the Sunday School and Ladies Aid, giving freely all of the time and effort her health would permit. Surviving to mourn her going are husband and sons, six grandchildren, three brothers, Edward W. Price of St. Mary's, Ohio, John H. Price of San Jose, California, and a sister Mrs. Dora Coppock of Milwaukee, Oregon, other relatives and a multitude of neighbors and friends.
