Mrs. Leroy Yaney
Rosemond L. Peiffer Yaney was born in Covington, O., on Dec. 19, 1911, she died at the Covington Hospital on Monday June 4, 1934. Her age was 22 years, 5 months and 15 days. On Oct. 2, 1930 she was united in marriage with Leroy Yaney. Of the immediate family there live to mourn the early death of this young woman; the husband; a sixteen months old daughter, Donna Lee; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clint Peiffer; a brother and sister, Alice and Robert Peiffer, and grandfather Charles Fashner of Piqua. A large circle of other relatives and friends are made sad over the death of this young woman. She was dedicated to God in Holy Baptism and at the age of 14 years, after catechetical instruction, became a confirmed member of St. John's Lutheran congregation. This membership she retained at the time of her death. Up until she lived elsewhere she was always active in the different organizations of the congregation. She gave willingly of her talents to the services of the church. She was a graduate of the Covington High School class of '29. Since marriage she had made her home in Greenville, Dayton and Tippecanoe City. Just a few weeks ago she and her family returned to make their home in Covington. She was very happy in returning to her home community again. For several years her physical condition has been somewhat impaired. Last week she suffered an attack of pneumonia which resulted in her death.
