Mrs. Missouri Musselman
Missouri F. Musselman, widow of the late Jacob Musselman, was born n Montgomery County, Ohio on February 6, 1858; she died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.M. Hawn in Pleasant Hill, Ohio on Wednesday August 22, 1934. She had reached the age of 76 years, 6 months and 16 days. She was united in marriage to Jacob Musselman in January 1877. The husband preceded her in death in the year of 1927. One daughter was born to this union. Mrs. Ida Hawn who lives to mourn her mother's death together with two grandsons, Paul and Ralph Hawn. Three sisters and four brothers are living; Mrs. Florence Smith of Covington; Mrs. Lulu Belleman and Mrs. Edna Schuter of Miamisburg; Seymore and Alvin Whitman of Pleasant Hill; George W. Whitman of Dayton; and Irvin Whitman of Alexandersville. A large number of nephews and nieces and other relatives and many friends are made sad over her death. The deceased was baptized in infancy and in early girlhood days she became a member of St. John's Lutheran congregation near Miamisburg. After moving to Miami County she transferred her membership to St. John's Lutheran Church at Covington. And in 1920 she united with the Christian Church here in Pleasant Hill . Thus, she kept active in the church and was interested in the various activities of the congregation.
