Laura Merchant Dies At His Home
Funeral Services For
A. C. Carroll
to be Held Tomorrow Afternoon
Laura, O. - A. C. Carroll, 80 years old and for 45 years a merchant in Laura, died at his home here at 6:30 o'clock last night. He had been ill one day. His death was said due to heart disease. Born at Potsdam, Ohio., Mr. Carroll had been a resident of Laura for 48 years. He was a member of the Congregational Christian Church. He is survived by his widow, Lydia; two daughters, Mrs. Bertha McClanahan of Laura and Mrs. Webster Troutwine of Arcanum; one son, Clyde C. of Laura; four grandchildren; two brothers, A. P. Carroll of Potsdam and O. C. Carroll of Laura. Funeral services will be held at the Congregational Church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Rev. D. G.. Pleasant will officiate. Burial will be made in the Old Ludlow Cemetery.
