William McDowell
William McDowell, 64, a well known timber buyer, died of blood poisoning at his home on Garfield avenue, Sunday morning. While assisting his brother, John McDowell, near Casstown, to butcher, he scratched his hand on a hog tooth. No attention was given the trifling wound, but blood poison developed in a few days. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, three brothers and two sisters. Funeral from the house Tuesday. In charge of Revs. W. D. Holt and D. S. Ferguson. Burial in Riverside cemetery.
