Mrs. Julia Catherine Rich
Former Shelby Co. Resident Dead
Mrs. Julia Rich Had Been Invalid Eight Years. Services Wednesday. Mrs. Julia Catherine Rich, 67, widow of William L. Rich, died at the home of her son, Wallace Rich, 1035 West North Street, Piqua, at 4 a.m., Monday morning. She had been in serious condition for the past week and had been an invalid for eight years. Julia Catherine Rich was the daughter of Henry and Martha Millhoff and was born September 23, 1873, in Montgomery County. She spent most of her life, however, as a resident of Shelby county. Several years ago she and her husband moved to Brown township, north of Fletcher. Mrs. Rich was preceded in death by her husband last spring. For the past year she had made her home with her son in this community. Besides this son, survivors include two other sons, Thurman Rich of Dayton and Albert Rich of Route 2, Piqua; a daughter, Mrs. Isaac Body of Piqua; five brothers, William and George Milloff of Sidney; Martin of Anna; and Stephen and James Millhoff of Dayton; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Lump of Shelby County and 12 grandchildren. Services conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Suber funeral home in Fletcher with burial at Graceland cemetery in Sidney. The Rev.
