Lorena O'Donnell Hill
Lorena O'Donnell Hill was born November 23rd 1900 and died suddenly on March 5, 1935 having reached the are of 34 years, 3 months and 12 days. She was the daughter of George M. O'Donnell and wife Margaret Steinhilber O'Donnell, who preceded her in death. She was baptized in infancy and became a confirmed member of the St. John's Lutheran Church on Pentecost 1915. On June 26, 1920 she was united in marriage with Donovan J. Hill. Surviving besides her husband are three children, Don Richard 13, Betty Ruth 12 and Thomas Franklin, 20 months old; one sister, Mrs. Walter M. Brandt of Newark and one brother Frank O'Donnell of Troy, a large number of relatives and a host of friends. Lorena was a good mother, always interested in the welfare of her children and the care of her home. Always a devout and faithful member of the church, she will be sorely missed. She was a member of the Mission Study Class and the Ladies Aid and Missionary Society, a regular attendant at Sunday School and church and for a number of years the very efficient Superintendent of the Light of Brigade.
