Obituary
Alma Mae Wade
Alma Mae Wade was born near Bradford, Ohio Dec. 12, 1903 and departed this life at the home of her parents April 14, 1936 at the age of 32 years, 3 months and 2 days. She united with the Church of the Brethren at Harris Creek at the age of 13 and continued in this faith until she passed to her reward. She was afflicted for nine years and was deprived of many of the social and religious activities of her Sunday School class which she so much enjoyed. Her last opportunity to be from home was to attend the closing service of the revival at Harris Creek on Sunday evening March 22.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her father and mother, two sisters, Mrs. Harley Lehman, and Mrs. Cleo Loxley of Bradford, Ohio, and one brother Mr. Harry Wade of Dayton, Ohio and many other relatives and friends.
A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is still,
A sad and vacant place is made,
Which can never more be filled.
The depth of sorrow tongue cannot tell,
At the loss of Alma, we loved so well,
And while she rests in peaceful sleep,
her sacred memory we will keep.
