Obituary Kathryn Roseann Miller
Our child bloomed in fields of light,
Transplanted by our care,
And saints upon their garment white,
These sacred blossoms wear.
And the mother gave in tears and pain,
The flower she most did love,
She knew she would find them all again,
In the fields of light above.
O, not in cruelty, not in wrath,
The reaper came that day,
'Twas an angel visited in the green earth,
And took that flower away.
Our little girl Kathryn Roseann was born to us Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Miller, on August 11, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio, and much to our sorrow passed from this earthly life on the morning of March 20, 1936 at the age of seven years, seven months and nine days. She was a second grade pupil in the Covington school where she made for herself a wide circle of friends. Her sweet and sunny disposition won for her, not only the friendship of her school mates, but the affection of older people as well. She was a lover of flowers and her interest in art added to the beauty of her life. Her attendance at Sunday School gave her an acquaintance with the teachings of Jesus who said: "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not for of such is the Kingdom Of Heaven". Surviving besides her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Miller are four sisters Mrs. Wesley Martin, of Covington, Miss Ethel Cree Miller of Piqua, and Mary Ellen and Jean Louise at home, one brother Forest V. Miller of Dayton. Her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. George Somers of Dayton, O. and Mrs. Frank Miller of Oran, O. and a host of other relatives and friends.
