Lawson M. Lowry Dies Friday Night
Lawson M. Lowry of 213 Harrison St. Bradford passed away Friday night at 11:30 o'clock at the Piqua Memorial hospital of uremic poisoning. He was only ill one week and was removed to the Piqua hospital on Tuesday. He was 73 years of age. The deceased had lived in Bradford for several years moving there from Covington. Prior to that time he had resided near Laura where he was engaged in farming. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Minnie Lowry and six children, Harold of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Orpha Nill, Bradford, Mrs. Ethel Bender, Covington, Mrs. Anna Wood, Bradford, Mrs. Gladys Reynolds of Trotwood, and Hanford at home. Two sisters Mrs. Mary Jane Coppock of St. Cloud, Florida and Mrs. Alice Hunt of Laura and 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were this afternoon at the Congregational Christian Church in Laura following a brief service at the Bradford residence. Interment was made in the Mote cemetery at Laura.
