Yingst Funeral Thursday Afternoon
Mrs. Maude Yingst, wife of George Yingst passed away at her home 4 miles northeast of Covington on Monday, following an extended illness. She had been critically ill for the past five months. She was 59 years of age. Funeral services have been arranged for Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Covington Presbyterian Church of which she was a devout member. Rev. F. C. Gleason will officiate. Survivors beside the husband include a daughter, Mrs. G. C. Purkeypile of Dayton and five sons, Omar of Fletcher, Freeman, Leonard and Karl all of near Covington; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Paxton and Mrs. Ira Crow of near Tipp City; four brothers, Charles Freeman of Fletcher, Leonard Freeman and Harry Freeman of near Piqua and Carl Freeman of Tipp City; eight grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive. Interment will be in Forrest Hill Cemetery in charge of J. D. Kinbrook of Piqua.
