Jacob H. Waymire Answers Summons
Jacob H. Waymire passed away this morning at 10:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Della Thompson, following a stroke of paralysis suffered about nine days ago, after a decline in health since the death of his wife about three years ago. Mr. Waymire was a highly respected citizen and had reached the advanced age of 84 years. His beloved companion, Lydia passed away three years ago this month, a short time after Mr. And Mrs. Waymire had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were a splendid example of happy, contented companionship, lived by Christian guidance, and both were an influence for the good of the community. Grandchildren also were reared in the home after the death of a daughter several years ago. Following the death of the wife and mother, the father was tenderly cared for in the home of the daughter Mrs. Thompson. Besides the daughter with whom he resided, his survivors include another daughter, Mrs. Clara Jones of Montana, one son Chas. of Columbus, Ohio, and several grandchildren and many loyal friends. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the First Brethren Church of which he was a faithful member, with Rev.S.J. Adams officiating. Interment will be made in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in charge of E. E. Geeting.
