Hedrick, 49, 308 Oak street, died at 12:45 am Tuesday in his home
following failing health of 20 months. He had been seriously ill for seven
weeks. Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday in the Irvin Funeral home, Rev. Alexander T. Coyle, pastor of the First Presbyterian
church of which Mr. Hedrick was a member, will officiate and burial will be in Highland
cemetery, Covington. The Red Men's lodge will conduct memorial services at 7:30 pm and the Eagles
lodge their services at 9 pm Wednesday in the funeral home. The family has
requested that friends kindly omit flowers.
A native of Indiana, Mr. Hedrick was born May 10, 1899, and was the son
of Alandis and Myrtle Miller Hedrick. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary
Hedrick; mother, Mrs. Myrtle Miller Hudson of Van Buren, Ind; sister, Mrs. Josie Cochran of Van Buren, Ind; three half-brothers, Vaughn and Haskell
Hudson of Van Buren, Ind, and Willis Hudson of Marion, Ind; half sister,
Mrs. Addie Rumple, Van Buren, Ind. Mr. Hedrick had been employed at the Brown Bridge Mills for 18 years until
his health failed. He was a member of both the Red Men and Eagles lodges,
of Troy, in addition to his church affiliation.
