Lewis B., son of Benjamin and Isabelle Johnston, was born in Miami County, Ohio, near Pleasant Hill on April 12, 1856. He was one of a family of four brothers, David, James, John and two sisters, Mary Jane and Sara Kathryn.  Of these only one brother remains, James of near Bradford. He spent most of his life in this community working on a farm. About twenty five years ago he moved to Covington, and spent his time working at various occupations. The last few years his health was not of the best so he spent his winters in Indianapolis with his niece Mrs. Harry Zollinger and family.  They brought him back to Covington last Monday to spend his summer here, and he died suddenly Friday night April 18, 1930, at the age of 74 years, 6 days. He leaves to mourn his departure, one brother, James, his niece and family, who cared for him and many other nieces, nephews and friends.  We wish to thank the neighbors and friends for their kindness shown.
