The death of Mrs. Alma Rhoades, nee Alma Wolfe, which occurred Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at her home one half mile north of Bloomer came as a great shock to her many friends. Although she has been ailing for some time she was seemingly improving.  Surviving besides her husband, J. W. Rhoades is a daughter, Mrs. Morris Apple of East Pleasant Hill, a son Roy of near Gettysburg and one sister, Ada Wolfe.  Funeral services have been arranged for Thursday afternoon to be held at the Bloomer Lutheran Church at 2:00 o'clock with Rev. Grilling officiating. Interment at Versailles.
