Andrew Wise Called Home
Well Known Resident Of This Vicinity Called Home --
Funeral Services Saturday A. M.
Mr. Andrew Wise, age 65 years, passed away yesterday morning at 11:30 at his home on the Clayton Pike, north of Covington. Death was due to Organic Heart Trouble.
He leaves his widow, Anna and eight children, William of Dayton, Mrs. C. M. Stover of Piqua, Ernest of Chicago, George and James of Racine, Wis., Furman, Joseph and Alva of Covington, besides two step-sons, Charles and Andrew Dickerson in the vicinity of Covington.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at the house
at 9:30 and the Church at 10:30, with Rev. C. F. McKee officiating. Burial
in Highland Cemetery. George Miller funeral director.

Mr. Andrew Wise
Andrew Wise, son of David and Elizabeth Wise was born on May 14, 1863 near Webster, Darke County, Ohio, and departed this life Wednesday April 10th, 1929, aged 65 years, 10 mos. and 25 days. He was the last of a family of ten children. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Anna Wise and their are eight children. There are also two step-sons. These are William Wise of Dayton, Mrs. C. M. Stover, Piqua, Ernest Wise of Chicago, Ill., George Wise of Racine, Wisconsin, James Wise of Racine, Wisconsin, Ferman Wise of Covington, Andrew Dickerson and Charles Dickerson, near Covington, Ohio. There are also twenty grand children. Brother Wise united with the Church of the Brethren very early in life and has continued through the years a member of the church he so much loved.
He was a great reader of the Bible and had familiarized himself with the sacred scriptures that he was able to quote freely from many parts of the sixty six books that compose the "Volume Of The Book." His family and friends speak of his readiness to recall passages helpful to himself and others as the problems of life presented themselves. He was highly regarded in the community as a man of sterling character and a high standard of citizenship. He was a kind husband and a good father.
The large circle of relatives, neighbors and friends join in their tribute of respect to the one who has been called and also in their sympathy for the bereaved family. The family desires to thank their friends and neighbors for the many kindnesses shown toward them in their dark hour of sadness and bereavement.
