Mrs. Fred Rench
Etta Mae, oldest child in a family of four children of H. B. and Lucinda Stitely, was born in Englewood, Ohio, February 13, 1873, and passed away at her home in Covington, Ohio, October 24, 1931, aged 58 years, 7 months and 11 days. On June 7, 1906, she was united in marriage to Fred E. Rench, of Covington, Ohio. She had been a resident of this community since 1894. She united with the Church of the Brethren during the pastorate of George W. Flory, and was ever an earnest consistent and loyal member throughout the years. She was a woman of sturdy Christian character and lived a beautiful life in our midst. Her parents and two sisters have preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, F. E. Rench, one brother, B. L. Stitely, of Covington, Ohio, two nieces, Mrs. Ruth Weaver and Mrs. Inez Wiemer, and a nephew William Belcher, all of Dayton, Ohio, and a great host of friends.
In her passing the husband loses a good wife, the Church a devoted member, the community a loved and loyal neighbor. Her body will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery.
