On February 12, 1929 in the home of Rolland & Armina Jones at Laura, a daughter whom they named -- Glenna was born. Her early childhood was spent in the Community in which she was born, but when she was ready for high school she was privileged to attend Steele High School from which [she] graduated in 1908. After school life she entered the business world.
She was happily married on March 16, 1914 to Harvey J. Cox and to their union one child, Rachel Kathryn was born.
Under the pastoral care of Rev. Kegg she gave her heart to God and united with the First Christian Church at Pleasant Hill in which during her life she held many offices of trust. She was faithful to her master who during her last illness stood so close by her side.
The end came after intense and prolonged suffering, March 13th.
Her departure leaves in grief her husband and little daughter, her mother, Armina Jones, four brothers, Rosco, Marlin, Besse and Earnest and four sisters Mable Aldry, Crue Karns, Juva Pemberton and Goldia Scheill. We do not weep for those who have no hope for in him we shall meet again.
