Mrs. Elizabeth Warner Dies After Illness of Short Duration
Funeral This Morning
Mrs. Elizabeth Warner 83, of 1615 N. Main Street, Dayton passed away at her home on Friday morning. She has been in poor health for several years but her last illness was of only a couple weeks duration. She was a very lovable character and numbered her friends by the hundreds. Her husband the late Michael Warner died twenty-one years ago. She is survived by four sons, all at home, Byron, John, L. J. and Nolen; also Mrs. Frank Brandenburg of Verona, and a host of other relatives, mostly cousins.
Funeral services at the home Monday 9 a.m. with interment in the Warner Cemetery, one mile west of Union, Ohio. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, more by those who were frequent guests in the home and most of all by the sons who were often heard to declare that they had the best mother in the world and they were her devoted slaves, her slightest wish was to them a law.
Then too, we would not fail to name the one who has through those years of her failing health, been as a daughter in the care and devotion which she bestowed upon Mrs. Warner. We refer to Miss Mayme Shellhaas, who too will feel this separation very keenly.
