TROJAN SUFFERS FATAL HEART ATTACK IN GARDEN
Lilbern J. Zimmerman Dies Suddenly Monday Evening - Final Rites Thursday Afternoon
Lilbern J. Zimmerman, 55, 514 South Walnut Street, died at 6:15 p.m. Monday of a heart attack while working in his garden on the Mrs. John Boyle farm, R. R. 2, just east of Troy.
Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Irvin Funeral home, Rev. Arthur C. Decker, pastor of the First Congregational Christian church of which he was a member, officiating. The burial will be in the family lot at Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the late residence after 7 p.m. Wednesday and at the funeral hour.
Mr. Zimmerman, an employee in the winding department of the Hobart
Manufacturing company, has been suffering from a heart condition. He was
born Feb. 27, 1983 in Pleasant Hill and was the son of the late Charles
and Mary Lantz Zimmerman. Surviving are his wife, Maggie Buirley Zimmerman,
to whom he was married in Troy on Jan. 10, 1917; two children, a son, Clarence
and a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Acker, both of Troy; two brothers Ralph R.
of Dayton and L. Vern of Troy; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Shannahan of
Detroit and Mrs. George Rademachir of Troy and two grandchildren.
