Mrs. Minnie M. Frantz, 63, 722 McKaig avenue, died at 2:15 pm Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Schwinn, Alexandria, Ind, where she had been receiving care for the past two months, after having been in failing health the past several years.
Mrs. Frantz was born near Troy Sept. 22, 1882, and was the daughter of David and Elizabeth Smith Honeyman. She had spent all of her life in and near Troy, and was a member of the First Congregational Christian church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Schwinn and Mrs. Lois Brady of Alexandria, Ind, Mrs. Helen Rowe of Columbus and Miss Frances Frantz, an army nurse, who was with her mother at the time of her death; two sons, Cpl. Dwight Frantz of Camp Chaffee, Ark, and Victor I. Frantz, R R 1, Troy; and a sister, Mrs. Elnora Fritz, R R 3, Troy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm Tuesday in the First Congregational Christian church, Dr. A. H. Hook officiating, and burial made in Riverside cemetery.
The body was removed to the Doom Bros Funeral home, New Carlisle, where friends may call Monday night and until time of the services.
The members of Class Seven of the First Congregational Christian Sunday school, of which Mrs. Frantz was a member and former assistant teacher, will assemble at the church at 2:45 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and attend the funeral in a group.
