Fletcher, Oct 18 - Suffering a paralytic stroke Saturday, Howard Adison Wiley, 66, died at 3 am today at his home in Greene township, Shelby county.
One of a family of nine children, he was born in Greene township, July 4, 1878 to Rolland C. and Margery A. Reeder Wiley. He was married to Cynthia Doss February 9, 1908, who survives him along with two sons, Harvey and Oliver Wiley of Fletcher, two grandchildren, a brother, Harvey of route 3, Sidney, three sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Drake of route 3, Sidney, Mrs. Anna Stackhouse of Phoneton, and Mrs. Oscar Moon of rural route, Fletcher. One daughter, Rhoda, died in 1938.
Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Suber funeral home in Fletcher, with Rev Clarence DeReamer of the Christian church , of which he is a member, officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery at Plattsville.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday and until time of the funeral.
