MRS. ANNA E. HONEYMAN IS STRICKEN VERY SUDDENLY
Mrs. Anna E. Honeyman of McKaig avenue died suddenly at about 9 o'clock Thursday morning from an attack of acute indigestion. She lived alone but during the last few days two of her grandchildren, Helen and Louis Frantz, children of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Frantz of Pleasant Hill, had been visiting her and were in the house when she became ill. The children at once notified the neighbors and Dr. J. W. Means was called. The physician, after giving medical aid, left for another call and during his absence Mrs. Honeyman suffered another severe attack and before Dr. Means could return she passed away. Mrs. Honeyman before her marriage was Miss Anna E. Smith and was born August 2, 1861, in Monroe Township. She was married to David Honeyman thirty-eight years ago and he died three years ago this month. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. A L Fritz, residing on the farm near Troy, and Mrs. Bert Frantz, of Pleasant Hill, four brothers, Estey S. Smith, D. A. Smith, both of Troy, John Smith of Tippecanoe City and Peter Smith of Vandalia, and three sisters, Mrs. J. E. Gearhart of Troy, Mrs. Lillie Rudy of New Carlisle and Mrs. William Keller of Tippecanoe City. There are six grandchildren. Mrs. Honeyman was a member of the First Christian church. The funeral arrangements have not been made.
