Mrs. Lillian Reynolds
Funeral Services of Mrs. Lillian Reynolds were held from the Presbyterian Church, Bradford, Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, in charge of a former pastor, Rev. Grear. Mrs. Reynolds had been ill all summer, taking sick at the close of the school term in the Spring. Everything possible was done for her recovery, but she passed away at Miami Valley Hospital, Friday night at 12:45 o'clock.
She spent a part of her girlhood in Covington, but was born at Union City, Ind., the only daughter of Mr. E. J. and Margaret Shilling Vester. Her father, brother and husband, E. J. Vester, Emmerson Vester and Hugh Reynolds remain to mourn her loss, besides many relatives and friends. The mother passed away in Sept. 1918.
Mrs. Reynolds was head of the Primary Department of Bradford Public Schools, also conducting the Summer Kindergarten work, until broken health caused her to give up her Summer work.
Burial was made in Highland cemetery, Routzahn Brothers, Funeral Directors. Many Covington friends gathering here.
Out of town friends attending the funeral services were Dr. and Mrs. Richard Shilling and daughter Mary Jane, Richmond, Ind., Mrs. George Annis and sons, George and Fred, with Mrs. Kern, Chillicothe; Miss Betty Hammele, Bellaire; Mr. and Mrs. George Cretors, Chicago, Mrs. and Mrs. Guy Reynolds, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lomerson, Dr. and Mrs. L. T. Arthur and family Covington.
