The funeral of Mr. Charles O. Wenzlau was held at his late home, last Friday afternoon and was attended by relatives and near friends only. The services were conducted by the Rev. J. M. Anderson, of Olivet Presbyterian Church, Columbus, who had officiated at the marriage of the deceased fourteen years ago, and was assisted by the Rev. L. H. Larimer, of this place. The interment was in the Maple Hill Cemetery. The casket was almost hidden by the beautiful floral offerings of sympathizing friends. The Sterling qualities of Mr. Wenzzau, gained him the respect and affection of all who knew him, and his loss will be keenly felt. Mr. and Mts. Barienbrock and son, Mr. Fritz and Boesek, of New Bremen, Mr. John DeFord, Mr. and Mrs. Bowman, Mr. Lennartz, and Mr. Benke, of Celina, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilby Davis of Troy, attended the funeral.
