Member of Pioneer Family of Miami County Succumbs this morning.
Covington, O., July 21, (U. P.)- J. A. Ullery, 80, a member of one of the pioneer families of Miami County, died at his home on East Broadway here this morning near 6 o'clock. He had been in ill health for the past twelve years, having never fully recovered his health following a severe heat stroke when he was 58 years of age.
He was an active interested citizen, participating on many civic enterprises and was widely known not only in Covington but throughout the county. For thirty years he was a teacher of a class in the Congregational Christian Church Sunday school and also was active in other church work.
Surviving him are his widow, two daughters, Miss Helen Ullery of Covington, and Mrs. Howard Wright of Fairfield; one son, J. C. Ullery of Chicago; and two sisters, Mrs. C. M. Hines, and Mrs. Mae Cox, both of Covington. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
