Mrs. Ella Knife Vore
After an illness of more than two years duration, and having been confined to her bed for seven months, Mrs. Ella Knife Vore passed away at her home at Nashville at 2 A.M. May 30, 1930.
The daughter of David and Jane Knife she was born Sept. 11, 1859.
On March 24, 1888 she was united in marriage with Allen O. Vore who passed away in September 1928.
She was for many years an active member of the West Union Christian Church and also treasurer of the Mite Society.
She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Shrader, of Tipp City, Mrs. Cora Cress of West Milton and one brother Chas. Knife, Tipp City besides many other relatives and friends.
We cannot say, and we will not say
That she is dead, she is just--away.
With a cheery smile and a wave of the hand,
She has wandered into an unknown land
And left us dreaming how very fair
Its needs must be, since she lingers there.
