Lewis Johnson Dies Suddenly From Hemorrhage
Coroner Pronounces Death Of Lewis B. Johnson Due to Cerebral Hemorrhage. Services Are Held This Afternoon.
Lewis B. Johnson, 74 years, who lived alone at his residence on South Chestnut St. Covington, Oh. passed away Friday evening from a cerebral hemorrhage.
Neighbors had not seen Mr. Johnson during Saturday morning and when Boone Ward, a friend, called at his home Saturday morning, he found the body of Johnson prostrate on the floor with life extinct.
Coroner was summoned and pronounced death due to a blood clot on the brain.
Mr. Johnson was the son of Benjamin and Isabelle Johnson who were residents of Darke County.
The deceased is survived by a brother, Jim of northwest of Bradford and a niece, Mrs. Harry Zollinger, of Indianapolis, Ind. with whom he had recently spent the winter.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Routzahn parlors, in charge of the I. O. O. F. Lodge in Pleasant Hill, of which Mr. Johnson was a member.
Interment was made in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
