Dies Following Long Illness From Paralysis.
Cloyd Frey of Wright Street Is Called Tuesday Evening. Formerly From Pennsylvania But Lived Here In Later Years.
Cloyd Frey, 52 year old Covington resident passed away last evening at 9:45 at his home on Wright St., located directly in front of the water tower. He had been ailing for over a year the result of a paralytic stroke.
The deceased lived the greater part of his life in Pennsylvania coming here some years ago and obtained work with the Highway department.
He was a faithful member of the Church of the Brethren, and also the order of the Odd Fellows.
He is survived his widow and a host of friends.
Funeral services have been planned for Friday afternoon at 2:30 at
the Church of the Brethren, Rev. McKee of Dayton and Rev. Williams officiating.
Interment in Highland, George Miller, Funeral Director.

Cloyd Abner Frey
Cloyd Abner Frey was born May 24th, 1878 in Juniata County, Pa. and was the oldest son of Johnathan B. and Mary Emma Frey.
He was married to Mrs. Mary Coppock, July 8th, 1920.
In October 1923 he united with the Church of the Brethren to which he remained faithful.
Those surviving are four brothers, Foster G. of Kalamazoo, Mich., Bert J. of Lotty, Ohio, Charles B. of Port Royal, Pa. and Samuel L. of Thompsontown, two stepsons Edgar and Orville Leonard, two sisters, Miss Mary of Lewistown, Pa. and Mrs. Katie Lowell of Pleasant Hill, besides eight nephews and four nieces.
Out of town friends attending the funeral were Bert Frey, family of Lotty Ohio, Foster Frey, Michigan, Charles Frey and wife and Samuel Frey of Thompsontown Pa., Mary Frey of Lewistown, Pa., and Ezra Frey and family of near Circle Hill.
