Mrs. Martin Felger

Covington - After an illness of nearly two weeks, which developed into pneumonia, Mrs. Martin Felger, an aged German woman and one of the oldest residents of Covington, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon. The decedent was highly respected and loved by all who knew her and had a large circle of friends. She was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran church. Mrs. Felger was born in Wurtenburg Germany, her maiden name being Margaret Steinhilber; she was married 61 years ago to Martin Felger. They came to the US 47 years ago and have resided in Covington ever since then on South High Street. At the age of 85, this mother, so tenderly cared for, was called away and is survived by the aged husband, one daughter, Mrs. W. W. Routson at Jeffersonville, O, who has been bedside, two sons, Barney Felger, east of Covington and Roland Felger of Covington and ten grandchildren. The funeral service was held Sunday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church.
