IDA E. VALENTINE
Private services were conducted at 2 pm Thursday for Mrs. Ida Ellen Valentine, 45, Piqua, half-sister of Charles Faust of Troy, at the former's home, 725 West Water Street, Piqua. Burial was in Highland cemetery, Covington. Rev. Bryce Nichols was in charge. Mrs. Valentine, who died Monday at the Piqua Memorial hospital was born in Bradford and had been a resident of Piqua for the last ten years. Her husband, Arthur F. Valentine, had formerly operated a grocery store on McKaig Ave. in Troy, where they had resided a number of years. She is survived by three children by a former marriage. George Sloan of Tipp City, Virginia Sloan of Hollywood, Calif; and Barbara Sloan of Piqua and another half-brother Harry Faust of Gordon.
