Wolcott

 

Conover- John H. Wolcott died in his home near Conover, Monday night, aged 86 years.  He has been in feeble health for the past six years but was taken worse only a few days prior to his death.  Mr. Wolcott was born in Brown township and has been a resident of that township all his life.  His parents came from Warren county and were among the early settlers of the township.  For many years he held his membership with the Lena Baptist church.

 

His wife preceded him in death nine years ago.  He leaves a son, Joseph Wolcott, of Conover, and one daughter, Miss Louisa Wolcott, who has cared for her father during his old age.  Funeral services to be conducted in the home Thursday at 10 o'clock, sun time, by his pastor, Rev. Alby Kite; burial in Fletcher cemetery.
