EDWARD COOPER, SR.
Edward Lewis Cooper, Sr., 69, 318 West Broadway,
Tipp City, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Stouder Memorial Hospital, where he
had been admitted June 21 as a medical patient.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the
Coppock, Lee Memorial home, with burial in Maple Hill cemetery.
Mr. Cooper, retired, widely known resident of the
community, was born Aug. 8, 1881, in Bedford, Pa., son of Mr. and Mrs. David
Cooper. He was a member of the Lutheran church and Tipp City Eagles
lodge and is survived by a son, Edward L. Cooper, Jr., Tipp City, and a
daughter, Mrs. Agnes Chmielewski of Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother Joseph of
Bristol, Tenn.' and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
His wife, Mrs. Anna Sheets Cooper, died 11 years ago.
