West Milton Resident Dies From Stroke
Aged Milton Woman Succumbs Fololwing Long Illness From Paralysis.
Prominent Member of Eastern Stars.
Mrs. Martha Linsey, 79, wife of Mr. George Linsey, passed away Sunday
afternoon at 1:00 o'clock at her home in West Milton, the result of a number
of paralytic strokes.
She has been failing for years and has been unable to speak for several
months.
Mrs. Linsey has lived her life in this vicinity and took part in the
activities of the Presbyterian Church until moving to West Milton where she
attended the Methodist church.
She was also a member of the order of the Eastern Star as well as Pythian
Sisters in West Milton and enjoyed taking part in their festivities.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Clara Wheelock, several
grandchildren, besides a host of other relatives. One son Oscar preceded
her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon in charge of the order of
the Eastern Stars at the Methodist Church at 2 o'clock. Interment will
be made in the West Milton Cemetery.
