Aged Resident of Gettysburg Dies Saturday
 
Christine Miller, Formerly of Covington, Succumbs From Effects Of Heart Trouble.  Funeral Will Be held Tuesday.
 
Following an illness of Dropsy and heart trouble, Mrs. Christine Miller, 79, wife of John Miller, passed away Saturday afternoon at 2:15 at her home North East of Gettysburg.
 
She was born in Germany but came to this country when quite young.  Before moving to Gettysburg about twenty years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Miller resided on the Troy pike on the farm now occupied by Mrs. S. D. Hofinger.  Mrs. Miller was a devoted member of the Covington Lutheran Church and attended occasionally after moving from this vicinity.
 
She is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Lena Steinhelber of New Madison, beside seven step-children.
 
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and at the Lutheran Church here at 2:30, Rev. Stroup officiating.  Interment in Highland Cemetery, Routzahn Bros. Funeral Directors.
