John Urban Dies Tuesday At Home in Columbus
 
Funeral Services of Former Pleasant Hill Resident Will Be Conducted From Home of Mrs. Frank Long, at Pleasant Hill, Friday Afternoon
 
The body of John Urban, 57, will arrive in Pleasant Hill Friday and will be taken to the home of his sister Mrs. Frank Long for funeral services.
 
Urban died at noon yesterday at his home in Columbus after being ill only a few days with heart trouble.  A Specialist diagnosed his case as rheumatism of the muscles around the heart.
 
News of his illness and death came as a shock to his relatives and friends.
 
For twenty six years Urban traveled for the Freeman Lumber Firm in Columbus.  He was President of the Ohio Sash and Door Association.  Not only was he a regular member of the Presbyterian Church of Columbus but took active part in its programs.
 
He took great interest in both the Masonic and Odd Fellows Lodges both of which he was a member.
 
Those surviving are his widow three daughters, Mrs. Irene Urban Fullen of Columbus, Maxine, Esther and one son Paul, all residing at home, two grand children, one sister, Mrs. Frank Long of Pleasant Hill and two brothers Elmer Urban and Amos Urban both of Dayton.
 
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
