Former Resident Dies Wednesday At Eaton, Ohio
 
T. J. Minton Rites Will Be Conducted Saturday at Home, With Interment Here
 
Mr. T. J. Minton, 82. a former resident of Covington passed away at his home in Eaton, Ohio, Wednesday evening, according to word received here by relatives.
 
Mr. Minton's life work was that of a brick contractor until he retired from labor five years ago.
 
He was an active member of the Christian Church at Eaton and was serving as Deacon at the time of his death.  He also took great interest in the Order of the Oddfellows of which he was a member.  The greater part of his life was lived in this vicinity but has been in Eaton for thirty years.
 
Mr. and Mrs. Minton celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary, Jan. 13th of this year.
 
The funeral services will be held at the home in that city Saturday morning meeting at the home at 10:00 o'clock.  Following the services the remains will be brought to Covington for interment in Highland Cemetery and the cortege will arrive here about one o'clock.
 
Mr. Minton is survived by his widow and five daughters, Mrs. L. H. Coate, of this city, Mrs. Cora Etter, of Ft. Recovery,  Mrs. Pearl Plumber, of Eaton, Mrs. Mae Benning, of Kansas City and Mrs. Mary Lincoln, Eaton, besides three brothers Dr. Linus Minton of Sidney, Dr. John Minton and Wm. Minton of Seattle, Washington.  One child preceded him in death twenty five years ago.
