LUCOUS, WILLIAM HENRY HARRISON - Pleasant Hill--William Henry Harrison Lucous, son of George and Mary Lucous, was born in Greene county, Ohio, January 24, 1834, and died at the home of his son, John W. Lucous, three and one-half miles east of Piqua, Sunday, July 24, paralysis being the cause of his death.  He had lived in the county for fifty years and had worked as carpenter and farmer.  He was married to Mariah Banning December 13, 1858.  His wife died Feb. 2, 1888.  They had eleven children, four sons and seven daughters.  There survive him one son, John W. Lucous with whom he made his home during the last few months of his life, and three daughters, Mrs. Clara McGale of Dayton , Mrs. Jennie Martin of Baltimore , Md. , and Mrs. Mary E. West of Piqua .  There are 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He was the last of his father's family.  He will be sincerely mourned by a large circle of friends.  The funeral was held from the Brethren church here Tuesday at 10:30 being conducted by the Rev. J. B. Fenner of Sidney .  Interment at Pleasant Hill cemetery.
