WILSON, WILLIAM - After suffering from a stroke of paralysis, incurred a week before, William Wilson passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ellis Gillespie, of South Mulberry street, Troy, at four-thirty o'clock Wednesday afternoon, April 24.  Mr. Wilson was born in Montgomery county near Dayton, on October 2, 1826, and was married in 1850 to Miss Bethany Dilts, and to this union were born two sons and three daughters, Alfred and Robert Wilson, Mrs. John Shoupp and Mrs. James Brown, of Troy, and Mrs. John Houser, of Pittsburg, Darke county.  In 1870 Mr. Wilson again was united in marriage, this time to Miss Mary Dilts, a half-sister of her first wife, who died nine years ago.  They have one daughter, Mrs. Ellis Gillespie.  Three brothers, Christopher, of Kessler Station, James and Richard of Sidney, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive him.  A sister, Martha Wilson of Sidney, died three weeks ago.  The funeral services were held from the First Christian church, Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. Etter officiating and burial was made at Riverside cemetery.
