MOSES, WILLIAM LANDON - New Hope--William Landon Moses died Sept. 5th at Urbana, death resulting from Bright's disease after an illness lasting one year.  He was born at Christiansburg Dec. 23, 1834, and was a son of Truman and Elizabeth Moses.  On Dec. 7, 1862, he was married to Eliza Jane Rall who together with five children preceded him in death.  A daughter and his two sisters and one adopted brother, Joseph S. Moses survive him.  He was well known and highly respected both in his own community and also for many miles around as he traveled dealing in notions for over thirty years.  The funeral was held from Newson Chapel, Thursday, Sept. 7, and was conducted by Rev. Cundy.  Interment in Newson cemetery.
