July 16, 1863

WILMINGTON, MRS. HARRIET - Mrs. Harriet Wilmington, wife of Thos. Wilmington, died at her late residence near Qusian, Wells County, Indiana, Thursday, July 2d, 1863--aged 52 years.  Mrs. Wilmington was born in Reading, Pa.  She resided in this village about seven years, during which friendships were formed which will live on while memory endures.  She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and eight children.  Two of her sons were ________ and privilege of smoothing her pathway to the grave, by the demands of their Country's service.  Far away in the armies of the Cumberland and Vicksburg mid the excitement surrounding, advancing and assaulting in armies, they stand, while a loved parent surrenders to the last _________.  Her last illness was one of _______ continuing fifteen days, when ______ in the trust to awake among the bounties and sweets of the Eternal State.
