McCAMPBELL, MARY C. - In New York City, March 31st, 1864, of Scarlet Fever, Mary C., only child of E. Newton, and Emma T. McCampbell, aged 1 year, 5 months and 4 days.

Mamie is gone, hew said the sound
That she on earth no more is found,
But joyful hope she rests above
Where all is peace, and joy, and love.
Then fare thee well, Mamie, dear,
We never more shall meet you here,
But, love, father, mother, friends,
All hope to meet you where bliss ne'er ends.
