M'MILLAN, ANGELINDA - Angelinda M'Millan, aged 18 years and 6 months, departed this life on Tuesday the 27th, at 3 o'clock, P. M. after an illness of eleven days.  Danger was not apprehended until within two or three days of her decease.  The occasion of her death was the combination of two diseases--the measles and influenza.  Medical skill and the utmost kindness and attention of friends could not arrest the destroyer.  During the last days of her sickness, pious friends conversed much with her the subject of religion and her preparation for meeting with God.  She regretted most deeply and bewailed most bitterly, that she had neglected preparation so long, and warned with tearful energy others from following her example.  Previous to her death, however, she gave her friends some evidence that she had found pardon in the blood of Jesus said, if it was God's will, she was ready to die, and hoped she would be happy in Heaven.--Her spirit has entered into its eternal home--her body rests in the grave till God shall bid it rise, and her friends are left to mourn their loss and prepare to follow her.  Her widowed mother, her brothers and sisters, deeply need the sympathy and prayers of their friends, in this, the loss of their dear Angelinda, we know full well and they receive them.--May they and we be prepared when our summons shall come.
