McLEAN, WM. (WILLIAM) ESQ. - Died--At his late residence, on Fifth street, at 3 o'clock, on the morning of the 12th inst., of Pulmonary consumption, Wm. McLean, Esq.  Mr. McLean was born in Mason county, Ky., on the 10th of August, 1794.  At an early age he removed with his parents to Warren county, Ohio.  With great energy and perseverance, he prepared himself under the tuition of his brother, (Hon. Judge McLean,) and was admitted to the bar at the age of twenty-one years.  He has subsequently filled the responsible duties of Receiver of public monies at Piqua, Ohio; member of Congress for the Fifth district, for six years, and more recently a merchant in Cincinnati, of the house of Reeves & McLean.  At the age of sixteen years he attached himself to the Methodist Episcopal Church, in which he has been a faithful member ever since.  Dying, as he lived, full of the hope of immortal life beyond the grave, he has taken from the good man the sting of his loss, in the assurance that he is now with his God.--Cin.
