HATHAWAY, WATSON S. - In Hospital at Mound City, Ill., of typhoid fever, on the 29th ult., Watson S. Hathawy, son of Daniel C. Hathaway, of Concord township. The deceased was a native of this county, and some three months ago entered the naval service. While on board the U. S. S. Corlew, he was taken sick, and after a few weeks illness, was taken away.--He was but eighteen years of age, and almost from the commencement of the war had been eager to enroll himself among the defenders of our country.
