HURLBUT, TRUMAN - In this city at the residence of Rev. Z. Eaton on the morning of the 12th inst., Mr. Truman Hurlbut, aged 26 years. Mr. H. was born in Tomkins County, near Ithacca, at the head of Guyudioga Lake, in the State of New York. Mr. H. for several years was engaged in teaching in his native State, and subsequently was connected with the Central College, Michigan, as a tutor or teacher. Some few weeks ago he came to this city and established a Normal School, of which he was Principal at the time of his death. Mr. H. leaves a wife and many friends to mourn his loss.
