HART, JOSEPH GREEN - Died of Consumption, at the family homestead near Troy, on the 14th inst., Joseph Green Hart, aged 31 years.  Mr. Hart united with the Franklin st. Presbyterian Church in A. D. 1843, and continued a consistent and interested member until the time of his death.  During the months of his last sickness, his musings were much on death, on Christ, and Heaven; and he went down "the dark valley," calmly leaning on the rod and staff of the great Shepherd of Israel.  As he drew nearer the grave, his hopes became most joyfully triumphant; and bearing strong testimony to the preciousness of the Christian's faith in a dying hour.  He left a large circle of relationship to mourn, not as "those who are without hope."  Long and affectionately, will they cherish the memory of that "clear whisper" of his last hours, tenderly urging them TO LIVE FOR HEAVEN.  Faith in Christ is the victory over death.
