January 28, 1847 

LANGLEY, JAMES B. - Hall of the Sons of Temperance, Troy, January 25, 1847 - This evening it being announced in Division that this morning our worthy Brother James B. Langley departed this life, on motion the following resolution were unanimously adopted:

Resolved, That in the death of Bro. James B. Langley this Division has lost a worthy member, one who was strongly attached to the order, and who by modesty and kindness had won the confidence and sympathy of all the brethren.

Resolved, That we sincerely sympathize with his family and friends in their bereavement and tender them all the aid that warm hearted brethren may have in their power to afford.

Resolved, That these resolutions, signed by our W. P. and R. S., be published in the Troy Times and St. Mary's Sentinel.
